From a passion for fine home made wines which are aged in wooden barrels and after many years we have achieved the ability to produce wines of the highest quality whilst maintaining the traditions of wine making. The latest techniques have been incorporated to produce these fine wines. With the fusion of both traditional and modern techniques, it has resulted in the production of Umbrian wines, which are full of character and quality. Where authentic simplicity is synonymous with this area, 4000 winemakers, who are dedicated to working the vines responsible for the production of these quality grapes, have united to work together to promote the image of wines in this area as the “Umbria Viticoltori Associati”. It has one objective, to unite wine makers and assist them to control the harvesting of grapes, the fermenting and processing of the wine, up until the bottling stage. Everything is under the control of enologists and nothing is left to chance including the analysis, the delicate aging process and refrigeration of the wines. This ensures that the Umbrian wines produced are not only genuine but that the quality is of the highest standard and this is achieved by using new techniques whilst incorporating the more traditional wine making techniques.
